In a shocking incident in Hyderabad’s Pahadi Shareef area, a Lamborghini valued at Rs 1 crore was set ablaze due to an alleged financial dispute involving the car owner and a group posing as potential buyers. This event raises concerns about the safety of luxury car transactions and the lengths to which financial disputes can escalate.
Incident Details
The incident occurred when Neeraj, the owner of the Lamborghini, tasked his friends with finding a buyer for his sports car. Through connections, the sale information reached Ahmed via Neeraj’s friend, Aman Haider. Ahmed expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle and arranged to meet at a local farmhouse on the evening of April 13.
However, the situation took a drastic turn when Aman, accompanied by another friend Hamdan, was intercepted by Ahmed and his associates on a route towards Hyderabad airport, diverging from the original plan to head to the farmhouse. The confrontation led to the group accusing Neeraj of owing them money, which quickly escalated despite Aman’s attempts to mediate and resolve the conflict peacefully.
The Attack
The group, unsatisfied with the mediation attempt, resorted to setting the vehicle on fire after dousing it with petrol. By the time the police arrived at the scene, the luxury car was completely destroyed.
Police Investigation
The Pahadi Shareef police have officially registered a case following the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, but investigations are ongoing to unravel the sequence of events and identify those responsible for the arson.
